Super S/S 2010 Collection

     Italian eyewear brand Super is back with their latest Spring / Summer 2010 RetroSuperFuture Collection and it is clearly fresh.  Get, it?  Clearly??  Okay, I digress.  The aim of this collection was to “embrace the essential and minimalism of objects and their functionality,” which when translated loosely basically means they are keeping things classic and simple.  Of particular note should be the newest silhouettes shown here dubbed the “People,” “Andrea,” “Lucia,” and the “W.”  The Flat Top is also back in a black / yellow two tone colorway we have seen before on the iconic Ray-Ban Wayferers in a variety of colors.  My favorite was the black / blue variant from the Ray-Ban 2009 Colors Collection.  I have been seeing a lot of translucent acetate frames recently and I expect them to be big this Summer season.  Somewhere out there, over the rainbow, Lady Gaga is falling in love for the first time all over again with the Lucia frames.
