Paul Smith F/W 2010

    One of my favorite English brands returns with another great collection for the Fall / Winter 2010 season. Paul Smith has always caught my attention due in large part to the diversity they always bring to the table. The clothes are always well cut in a classic and very discernible British way and there is always the generous use of bold and loud color. Tweed and boots also had a strong presence this year too, pulling heavily from the outdoor-inspired trend we have been seeing since back around Fall / Winter 2009. Just as a side note, Mr. Smith, an avid cyclist who had early hopes of going pro, had his dream deferred after a major crash at age 17. While not involved in a crash, Michael Ball of Rock & Republic fame is also and avid cyclist as well. Both men are notable fashion icons. Just thought it was interesting.
