GQ Made Me Buy an H&M Check Shirt

    Reading through GQ Magazine‘s January 2009 issue a while back I noted an article titled “Keep it in Check” (Pages 86-87) where the writer Tom Schierlitz pointed out some great shirts ranging in price from a $25 Old Navy shirt to a $520 Tom Ford shirt. The trend is growing on me and now after seeing how in this month’s issue where Zac Efron made an otherwise simple navy suit and black tie pop with a blue check shirt, I thought it was time I finally picked one up. A while back I saw this one (behind the magazine for those of you who missed it) at H&M and figured it was time I made it official and committed to the trend. A nice entry price of $29 to see if I have the pattern mixing skills to pull the look off as well as GQ does was definitely a plus.
