Converse, Vans, & LV Do Boat Shoes

    So, for men this summer season, boat shoes are big. Kanye West designed a version for Louis Vuitton, Vans made their version called the Zapato Del Barco, but my personal favorite are the newly released Converse take on the classic boat shoe that they have freshly named the Marine Sea Crisp. Originally released in Japan only, now select U.S. retailers have been known to stock them. I haven’t seen Kanye’s shoe in Louis Vuitton stores yet, but you can assume that with the LV logo and Yeezy’s name behind them they are going to cost you. The Vans version is readily available anywhere in the U.S. in a variety of different colorways, but is as wide as your average run of the mill Vans slip on. Since I wear a suit everyday and have a notorious reputation for wearing my kicks with slim cut European suits, a slimmer Converse version is perfect for my needs. I’m on a mission kids, I need these.
