    The Japanese scene has been one of the biggest supporters of the studded trend that we have seen literally jump from the runways to the streets in the past couple of months. Jimmy Choo’s collection for retailer H&M has a variety of studded pieces, Christian Louboutin’s Spring / Summer 2010 Collection is dripping in them, and even the Hellz x Reebok collaborative “Top Down Sneakers” got the stud treatment. So of course Japanese luxury shoe maker ato was not to be outdone by the competition. Their now notably famous “Cowhide Boot” gets suited up for the studded festivities in a lethal black on black colorway. Round studs and traditional square studs are strategically placed on the shoe’s already prominent silhouette. This one is a winner kids.
