Acapulco Gold x Vans Moda Hi

Alcapulco Gold has recently team up with Vans to put their custom touch on this newly developed sneaker dubbed the Moda Hi. The Moda Hi fuses the classic SK8-Hi and more fashion-forward Mountain Edition Hi. The Alcapulco Gold variant boasts a mix of suede and leather uppers on a fresh white/green colorway. If the colorway has a hint of similarity it is because the rumor around camp is that the shoe’s colors were inspired by the classic Adidas Rod Laver. And for the super detailed of you out there you will note that hiking boot laces were added to the sneakers which may be right on point with the whole hunting themed trend that I anticipate seeing more and more of in the Fall. The shoe is the second release of Vans’ upcoming East vs. West Pack, which will feature design efforts from Los Angeles based Crooks & Castles and New York natives Acapulco Gold.
