They have all been recently spotted wearing denim with a significant amount of tearing. Skinny jeans appear to be the cut of choice and it seems like most are wearing J Brand Jeans. A more humble man wouldn’t take the red hot opportunity to say “I told you so.” But, I am not a more humble man so “I told you so, damn it!” It would seem as if I wasn’t the only one who thought that this year’s at “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City was a showing of pure dooky. Valentino himself told The Guardian‘s Oliver Marrie, “I think now all the girls look very ugly. I saw the pictures of the Metropolitan gala evening last week and I never saw something more ugly, all the girls have their legs out with the most terrible proportions.” I wonder what Madonna, Rihanna, and Mrs. Beckham think about that one? I guess I would be a little bitchy if Uma Thurman tried to eat me too.

I have to hand it to Mrs. David Beckham, it really seems like she doesn’t really do casual Fridays. From the airport to high end fashion events, the girl always brings her “A” game. Here Victoria Beckham is seen visiting Macy’s Herald Square to reveal the new Emporio Armani underwear campaign on May 6, 2009 in New York City which of course features herself. For those of you who follow the twitter feed, you know she has been my obsession of the week. I only really have one question. Is it weird standing in front of a giant full size photo of yourself in underwear for a photo session with the press?

I was beginning to think maybe I was the crazy one after seeing Rihanna and Madonna at “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. When I first saw the pictures of how extreme everyone was dressed I was left scratching my head thinking maybe I just didn’t understand the premise of the event. Thankfully I went back for a second look and found these shots of Victoria Beckham who I think looks super sexy. Is it just me or do her legs look fantastic in these shots? The girl definitely has her patented pose down. Hands on the hips, check. Lean to one side, check. Tilt the head, check.

Victoria Beckham was seen arriving at LAX airport to catch a flight to New York’s JFK airport in this leather flight inspired outfit today, May 4, 2009. The super wide, stiff shoulders of the leather jacket actually match the leather flight cap in a weird way. I don’t know anyone who pulls off skinny jeans better than Posh, but it should be noted that in order to wear skinny jeans you have to be, uh, well skinny. I think David Beckham’s wife qualifies as skinny. So do you think she actually flew that plane with that outfit on?
