    Admittedly I am a big fan of the branding that is Rock & Republic although for some reason their denim just feels awkward on my body sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, I still own three pairs, I just don’t wear them as often as my selvedge denim which I am trying to wear in and mold to my body. The logo and branding of Rock & Republic is what sets them apart in my opinion as being “edgy” and “fresh.” Unlike a lot of other designer denim labels out there Rock & Republic has a tendency to use denim in both their men’s and women’s lines that has a noticeable amount of elasticity to it. The elasticity gives Rock & Republic denim its unique texture and more fitted feel. As a guy who has always dreamed of starting my own denim label, the story how Michael Ball, the creator and CEO of the company started has always motivated me.  Michael Ball made it because he believed that, knowing absolutely nothing about fashion, he could make a better pair of denim. The video explains the beginning of Rock & Republic from their CEO himself.
