Love Magazine “Denim Angels”

Everywhere I look these days there is an overabundance of denim. Personally, I think Kanye West started it all with his vintage Levi’s denim jacket which he professed his love for when he told GQ Magazine it was one of his “10 Essentials.” Denim shirts, denim jackets, and denim on denim (dubbed the “double denim” craze) has really been a trend that I have been following and for some reason have yet to post about. I think it is because I am not exactly sure about my standpoint on it. I like the idea of a denim jacket with corduroy pants, or a denim shirt with khaki pants, but double denim is a bit more difficult for me to appreciate. So, let’s examine the trend a little further and come to a conclusion together folks. Love Magazine in its third issue has brought us this editorial appropriately titled “Denim Angels” which features models Alessandra Ambrosio, Devon Aoki, Emily Didonato, Izabel Goulart, and Miranda Kerr shot by Dan Jackson and styled by Francesca Burns. After the shoot was done Love Magazine asked Alessandra what she wanted for Valentine’s Day. Without hesitation or embarrassment she just said “sex.”
