Victor Glemaud for Quiksilver Boardshorts

I don’t know how many of you out there remember Spicoli and Mr. Hand, but this spectacularly bright pair of retro boardshorts by Quiksilver has me remeniscing about my childhood. Having grown up in the 80′s I can tell you that if it wasn’t neon, it just wasn’t cool. Seeing a resurgence last summer, the neon trend has stuck around and continues to linger this summer season as well. Refusing to grow up, I can tell you that I most certainly would not be afraid to pick up a pair of neon shorts and hit the sand. Designed by up and coming New York designer Victor Glemaud for the Spring / Summer 2010 season these bright boardshorts feature a retro style cut with neon paneling, slight Quiksilver branding and a contrasting white waist band.
