    Damn you and your fly gear Japan! Now you guys over there on the island are just messing with us in the good ol’ U.S.A. by reminding everyone how innovative you are. In a commemorative holiday drop for the Festivus season (If you don’t know, you are seriously behind on your Seinfeld reruns.), Vans Japan has released this V2041HI-XM dubbed the “Chocolate.” Although the hints of red and green give you the Christmas vibe, I do have to admit that the shoe’s silhouette, gold badge on the tongue, and checkered upper do seem to have a striking resemblance to a certain Louis Vuitton Damier line. The rumor around camp over at ABC-Mart, who helped in the shoe’s design, is that a Sk8-Hi version may be hitting the streets of Japan in the not too distant future as well.
