Rag & Bone S/S 2010 Liberty Fedora

     I have always respected Rag & Bone for their quality of construction and minimalism design aesthetic.  The older I get the more I favor classic, discreet pieces with wear and tear that my body has created.  This typically translates to spending a little more on higher quality construction in the form of heavier selvedge denim, quality hand-stitched leather, and the like.  Since last summer we have been seeing an ever-growing spectrum of brands coming to market with straw hats, mostly of the fedora variant.  And with such a variety of brands making the same product one thing really differentiates them all and that is quality.  Think about it.  Most fedoras are the same shape, come in roughly the same sizes, and are offered in many similar colorways.  Rag & Bone’s Liberty fedora is unique because they all hand made in the US and feature a slightly shorter brim, making them easier to wear and slightly contemporary.  Two colorways are offered for the Spring / Summer 2010 season, a brown Raffia 27 and a Black Panama.
