The first Quiksilver Limited Collection, which featured a collaboration with DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material aka “camouflage”) and Hardy Blechman of Maharishi, debuted in Spring 2007. Now, the new incarnation of the premium specialty extension is back for the Summer / Fall 2009 season with some interesting touches. I dig the white swimsuit with the vintage blue pirate print (pictured first) named “Mr. Rourke,” but to be honest the whole line is pretty solid. Also Simon Buttonshaw’s “Tom-Tom” print, which originally graced a pair of boardshorts in the late 80s, is re-issued on a modern boardshort (pictured second).
