Prada Resort 2010 Collection

    Going in what seems to be a complete different direction than both Gucci and Chanel‘s Cruise Collections, Prada has released their 2010 Resort Collection. It looks like Miuccia Prada was going for an infused high style with a beachy attitude, but I’m not sure if that really happened here. She opened her show with color-spliced looks in what Prada has called “shades of Miami Beach” — sand, coral and aqua. Prada seems to be betting on bold prints, worn in multiples or with shirts and varsity sweaters. The shoes and bags look pretty hot, the new collection, not so much.
