Jil Sander x Uniqlo S/S 2010 Lookbook

Well kids, the +J Collection is back for round two.  The line-up is very similar in both overall offerings and presentation to what we saw the first time with the introductory Fall / Winter 2009 +J Collection.  Neutral black & white images set the tone for the notably well cut collection from Uniqlo and Jil Sander.  If you like pieces that are well tailored off the rack and have a timeless appeal for a more than modest price, you can’t go wrong with a piece from this collaborative effort from the Japanese brand and German designer.  Last season they had a spectacularly well cut, fitted tweed jacket with a slim notch-lapel that was featured in the pages of GQ Magazine if I do recall correctly.  One thing is for sure, the collection does live up to the mantra of “pure tailoring, avant-garde textiles and truly modern silhouettes.”  Prices range from a low of $10.50 U.S.D. for some of the cut and sewn pieces to a high of $149.50 U.S.D. for some of the outerwear, coats and jackets.
