Band of Outsiders returns to the winning formula of a Polaroid aesthetic with a sprinkle of celebrity power that won me over for their Fall / Winter 2009 Lookbook. This time the Band moves from Chung King Road in Los Angeles to a Southern California marina environment and swaps out Jason Schwartzman for Dave Franco, Donald Glover and actress Leslie Mann. And, just to add a little more vibe to the photography this time around the images were wrapped in the Polaroid white frame to really bring home the look. I don’t know about you kids, but for some reason I can’t get the lyrics from Gilligan’s Island out of my head now. “Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship.”
