Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Motorcycle

My man Karl Lagerfeld can’t help that he is an old school “bad ass.” For him it is just genetic. The man who brought us a visual of Chanel fast-foodwith his quote “Fashion is the healthiest motivation for loosing weight” now brings us a fashionable custom chopper. Random yes, but that is how Lagerfeld rolls. Anyone passing by the Chanel boutique on Rue Royale in Paris last Friday, July 17, 2009 happened upon this amazing photo opportunity. Chanel’s creative architect, Karl Lagerfeld was shooting the press kit for Chanel’s pre-spring collection “Starting Point” with the models Lara Stone and Baptiste Giacobini cavorting around this eye-popping prop: A motorcycle customized for Chanel in Toulouse, France, and reminiscent of the low rider Marlon Brando piloted in “The Wild Ones.” Don’t get your hopes up though kids, this little toy won’t be popping up in your local Chanel boutique anytime soon.
