Kanye West Glow in the Dark Book

Stop hating people. Yes, Kanye West may have pulled a few “suspect moves” in last couple of years, but facts are facts. The man is talented and the man is entertaining. That is what the business is about right? And, say what you will about the whole Taylor Swift situation, but one act by my man Kanye made her America’s sweetheart. I am not saying it was right and I am not cosigning the act; however the way I see it, he inadvertently put her career on steroids. Controversy creates buzz and for some sick voyeuristic reason keeps people relevant. Later this month, Rizzoli Publications will be releasing a new book on Kanye West, focusing on last year’s Glow in the Dark tour. The 288-page book provides a look at on stage performances featuring photos by Nabil Elderkin (director of Kanye’s “Paranoid” and “Welcome to Heartbreak” videos), behind-the-scenes shots, and also includes conceptual sketches by West, costume designs, and stage models. The book comes with an audio CD featuring the previously unreleased live instrumentals for “Hey Mama,” “Touch the Sky,” “Jesus Walks,” and “I Wonder,” as well as an interview with tour collaborator Spike Jonze.
