Ibn Jasper x Quintin 5-Panel Cap

The Cobra Snake was out and about recently, doing what he always does, taking the best party photography you will ever see. On this outing in particular, Ibn Jasper was caught subtly previewing the gray colorway of his new 5 panel fitted hat collaboration with Quintin Hats which has been self-titled as the “Ibn Jasper.” The party was held at “MindTheGap” in the City of Angels and different venues call for different flair apparently because this variant of the hat appears to have a tassel on the bill which was not seen on the black colorway we saw at Ibn’s birthday party at Guys & Dolls last week. You may recall from that post that the hat was designed by its namesake to match the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton “Jasper” shoes which also have a tassel. So, what is MindTheGap you ask? MindTheGap, the inaugural exhibition of PRISM (Los Angeles’ newest art gallery), highlights the works of Phillip Frost and Barry McGee, two artists whose diverse output includes graffiti, film, sculpture, painting and large-scale interactive installations. MindTheGap is curated by P.M. Tenore, founder of RVCA, the Artist Network Program and publication ANP Quarterly.
